  4. Partner with secondary schools

Reach out to local schools to promote student interest in entrepreneurship and STEM fields at an early age. To do this, universities could sponsor camps, workshops and contests. For example, the University of South Florida holds the Young Innovator Competition to encourage young innovators.

  5. Project Humanity Put them to Work Program

I feel our Government should help out the Homeless people, by using funds to provide workshops for the less fortunate, that want to be productive members of society. Why cant funds be allocated, to allow people a 2nd chance at retraining them and putting them back in the work force, therefore promoting humanity, economic growth, and self worth, not all homeless people want to be homeless and at one time were productive members of society, the easy way out is paying these peoples way and forgetting about, growth of the economy humanity goes along way reallly.

  7. Venture Capital Student Run Funds

Experiential learning is key. Innovation, entrepreneurship and Venture Capital/Angel Investing cannot be taught solely out of a text book. There has to be opportunities for students outside of the classroom to supplement this learning. For example, Dakota Venture Group, a University of North Dakota student run venture capital investment fund, was the first solely student run fund in the United States. Dakota Venture Group provides students the opportunity to conduct due diligence, make final investment decisions, manage the portfolio, and negotiate the deal terms.
