Connect ventures with resources they can use.
Creation of investment-ready student ventures culminating in Demo Day

MSU Denver attracts students who are from all over the globe who are geared towards advancing their professional careers, many of them have an entrepreneurial mindset that drives them to understand how to create sustainable businesses. It was this entrepreneurial spirit that led to the initial creation of Student Startup.

Developed by a MSU Denver student, Student Startup runs on active student collaboration and community engagement. We work closely with the Metro State University Center for Innovation and other organizations with a wider objective to become a major “node” in the Colorado entrepreneurship ecosystem.

The accelerator program is currently designed for MSU Denver students, but will be expanding to include students from all colleges on the Auraria Campus (University of Colorado and Community College of Denver), University of Denver, University of Colorado, Regis University, Colorado State University, Red Rocks Community College, University of Phoenix, Colorado Technical University, and University of Northern Colorado. Students and faculty from these schools will be sourced from course work , conferences, pitch competitions, and outreach to other campuses.
